Background Pages...

I did some playing with the Gelli Arts gel printing block yesterday and today. Plus today did a little stenciling for backgrounds.

It is not the greatest photo -- that should also be one of my goals this year: to learn how to set up the camera to take better photos of my journal and other art work. I also want to learn how to do a video for a journal flip.I need a tripod to start with...

Another page and background.

I wonder if there is a You Tube video on how to set up for an Art Journal Flip video?

  1. Ok, today the comments window is there. When you visit next, we'll play around making vids, and I'd like to hear more about gelli printing. I must be missing something cause it seems like you could just roller paint onto a sheet of glass and lay the paper down. I do like the prints! And the Make More Art page is great. What's the background?

  2. The background is some really cool decoupage tissue called Decopatch. It is from France but sometimes you can find the tissues here or online.

  3. I had never heard of an Art Journal Flip before. Very cool.

  4. I also like your background for the Make More Art page. I think your gelli pages are very soft and like the stenciled bits on them.
