Mosaic Memories...

I was looking through some old travel photos from Spain in 2003 (hard to imagine it was 10 years ago!) and found these lovely reminders of Parc Guell mosaics in Barcelona. I adore Gaudi's work and this park is such a wonderful display of some of his whimsey.

    I love that lizard, it looks quilted. I had never heard of Gaudi. Thanks for sharing!

      Oh my! You have got to look Gaudi up if you like mosaics! His buildings and artwork around Barcelona is just magnificent!

    Those are all gorgeous. I never heard of him either but then I don't get around much lol.

      Not much like him here Leslie! Do a Google search on his art and architecture though, he was amazing! And to get to see his work in person in Barcelona was such a treat! Amazing buildings!
