New art journal pages...

The new pages I have been playing with lately have a lot of bright paint and do not scan well I am finding out. So these are all from my phone's camera. Scanners and cameras don't like neon colors! But lately I do!! So I am using them a lot!

This one I just could not get the color right -- in real life it is brighter.

  1. Beautiful work, I love neons too! Try using the pixlr app on your phone. You can either auto fix it, or use the saturation to get the natural color you're looking for!! Hope that helps!

    1. Giggles thanks for the idea. Someone else suggested that also on FB so I guess I definitely need to find it! And I am finding it takes patience to tweak a photo just right, something I usually never bothered with before! Glad you stopped by!

  2. What wonderful colors! My scanner has problems with some colors, too. I also have a photoshop program--I just discovered a button which uses only colors used on the web. Whodathunkit?! I love your artwork and the words you use to enhance it. Fabulous!

    1. Thanks Beth! I need to find the button you are talking about then -- was it in Photoshop or on your camera? Thank you for your nice comments, glad you came to the blog!
