Another painting with those lines...

I had so much fun using that silicone pastry brush to make lines on the last painting that I did another one, similar but larger (9" x 12" on canvas board) and with more little lines!

I am realizing I have no idea how to NAME an abstract painting! So for now this one is Window Reflections. That might change quickly if someone gives me a better idea for what to call it! Feel free to leave suggestions!

  1. I'd turn it upside down and call it 'full moon'. Just kidding, sort of. Otherwise I'd just shorten it to 'reflections'. Whatever its name is, I like it. Good colors and composition.
I bought another pastry brush (already had one for kitchen use) at the dollar store but haven't had the time/inclination to play with it yet.

  2. Very cool Rhonda. I like the composition, especially the black lines and the complementary colors. I can picture it as part of a set. :)

  3. I'd like to call it The Park. I don't know why but a park came to mind when I first looked at it. :)

    Thanks for joining again!

    1. Cool... my husband wanted to call it fish hanging from our front porch (?? no clue why there!) so I think a park is more reasonable! LOL Thanks for taking a look!

  4. I think it loos like the city in the rain with the reflection of lights in the water on the roads. I think I would call it 'Urban Distraction'. I agree with Cat that it would look good as part of a set:)

  8. I've never really done any abstract painting and never thought how hard it would be to name your work. It's lovely though :)

  14. Lovely abstract painting! It's as I can face a river there..
so maybe the theme(my opinion) could be "by the river" or something..
