So we made some more Roben-Marie style pages! It always amazed me that even though I do the same basic thing to follow her page style, they can come out so varied. This was last time. This time I tried some different color combinations. Which do you like better?
It is a many many layered thing. Starts out with some stencils, then gelli plate colors, then collage, doodling, more color, more doodling, more collage, you get the idea!
So today I came across a couple more of my newsprint pad pages that I put my work on so I thought I would share them here. Remnants of gelli print brayer clean off, spray inks, general left over colors, etc. Feel free to download either of the following and use as you would like in your art work. As usual I would love credit back to me and it would be great if you linked to what you made with these freebies!

ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! Glad you came by!
DeleteThanks for playing.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Rhoz.
Thanks Sally! Thank you for hosting Blue Monday! Snippets of blue everywhere!
DeleteI too popped over from FB 21. - love both versions and will be looking forward to doing that workshop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing backgrounds too love the serendipity of them.
Thanks for stopping by Sue! Have fun with the backgrounds!
DeleteThey look so different on the screen. Seeing them like this, I love the top one. The warm peachy/aqua color scheme makes even the red circles look orangey.
ReplyDeleteAlso just downloaded the bottom freebie earlier today and am making a digital collage with it. Stay tuned.
I think however the computer is not interpreting the colors correctly... I have noticed it with other things too, wonder if it is the photo program I am using or my camera settings or who knows what!
DeleteLooking forward to seeing what you make with the freebie!
I actually like all your image - but having a favourite colour does influence me just a little - so the orange on top I find the most exciting -lots of interesting pattens and shapes ands swirls. The others are very gentle.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
Yes loving orange would do that! LOL Glad you popped by Lori, thanks!
DeleteWhat wonderful complex and colourful patterns you have here. I think I might like the first one best, but I like the second one too.
ReplyDeleteYeah hard for me to decide too! LOL Thanks for the visit Sheila!
Deletegreat pages rhonda. i love them and also the previous ones you did, especially the last two. sometimes it takes a while for our "own" style to emerge. i don't think i am there yet myself.
ReplyDeleteI am still finding my own style as well. It helps me to try other people's ideas then eventually something of my own comes through for me. Thanks for stopping by!
